I've used Happy Drains for many years. From complicated jobs (rebuilding a damaged sewer drain) to just a quick unblock. The last job was a simple blocked main drain. They came in the afternoon, called ahead to tell me the time they would be arriving. It was a simple job but when you have a household using the shower and toilet it needed to be sorted. Kitchen Drain Unblocked
I had originally called British Gas Home Emergency Service who sent out a DynoRod engineer. I had put unblocker chemicals down the drain which had failed to clear the blockage. When the DynoRod engineer saw the chemicals he refused to continue the job stating it was too risky as the chemicals are very harmful, and said nothing could be done for 72 hours after using the chemicals. Happy Drains attended 24 hours later and cleared the blockage with no fuss, and no injuries!

The gentleman who came was very helpful, tidy and gave good advice for ongoing drain maintenance. I marked them down in reliability and timekeeping because an admin error at their end meant my appointment was not noted down as it should have been and he was later than I thought. However, the workman was totally honest about this when he arrived and apologised. I was impressed with his honesty about it. I would not hesitate to use them again as everything else was brilliant.

I called at 4 pm and was told they could try to get someone out in the hour but would most likely be in the morning. 5 minutes later I received a call back saying they would be out within the hour. 40 minutes later a guy knocked on the door and 1/2 hour later he was leaving after a job well done.
