Ready to swap your lunges for plunges?
Warm-up: The SINK STRETCH
Before you get started, shake out those legs and roll those shoulders. Now Stretch those arms to reach your trusty rubber plunger…. You’re gonna need it!
Exercise 1: The Plunge
- How to do it: Grab your plunger and give your sink a vigorous plunging workout. This strengthens your arms and clears minor blockages
- Reps: 12 plunges per plughole.
Exercise 2: The Grease Toss
- How to do it: Pour leftover grease and cooking oil into a disposable container instead of the sink. Lift and toss the container into the bin. This improves aim through hand eye coordination and prevents future fatbergs.
- Reps: Once after every meal.
Exercise 3: The Shower Tray Squat
- How to do it: Place a cover over your plughole. Bend your knees into a squat for extra effort. This keeps the debris out and tones the legs and thighs.
- Reps: 6 squats rest and repeat.
Exercise 4: The Vinegar Sprint
- How to do it: Grab a bottle of Vinegar in one hand and a box of Baking Soda in another. Pour them down the drain and a sprint to the finish to fetch hot water for the rinse.
- Reps: Once a month for effective drain maintenance.
Cool-down: The Pipe Check Pose
End your workout with calming satisfying inspection of your pipes. Take a deep breath and exhale slowly and admire all your hard work.
