Kitchen drain not clearing outside.
After trying to clear outside gully by hand, I feared a major underground issue. After seeing good reviews, I called Happy Drains Norwich. A non urgent visit was agreed 8am-12. On the day, He called to advise on the way. Shortly after, he called again to advise that he had to attend an emergency and would it be OK in 1 hour. I agreed and he arrived in originally agreed time window. Relying on experience, he determined that the gully outlet was in a surprise position and he removed bits of concrete and old fat. Quick job but fee was ok for his experience and his very flexible wrists!

Called Happy Drains about 9am as my ensuite toilet was blocked which was the only working toilet at the time. They advised that someone could be with me between 10am and 12noon. Two guys arrived just after 12 and went to work straight away to clear the blockage, which they did quickly, cleanly and professionally. Based on this I would use Happy Drains again.

Unpleasant smell from drains.
Persistent unpleasant smell from drains into kitchen sink. Eliminated problems with internal plumbing so called HD. First appt engineer rang to say earlier job had been more complex than reported and would be late for our job. Offer of new appt 2 days later accepted. Engineer (Quinn) rang with ETA, arrived in middle of time slot. He was polite, professional, he quickly located and removed the problem and flushed the whole drainage system.

Checked drain, tried to unblock manually but no good so used high pressure hose, cleared blockage and left clean and tidy. This all took just over an hour. Very efficient, polite and cheerful, even though it was towards 7pm by the time they packed their gear away.

The two guys that did this work went out of their way to resolve the issue. The drainage duct had an unknown history; I didn't know where it went. With a camera inspection and a LOT of inspection work they resolved it and cleared the obstruction. I was dreading the bill thinking there's going to be a twist but no. Price quoted was price paid. Very impressed, and would use again. Even contacted the company after work to pass on my feedback - hence this review.

Foul smell in bathroom
I had a disgusting smell of sewage coming through my pipes in the bathroom, after trying to solve the problem myself unsuccessfully i called Happy Drains and Alex arrived as planned, as soon as he flushed the loo he knew instantly what the problem was - a blockage in the pipes. To say he solved my problem is an understatement, he went to both of my neighbours to check their drains until he found the blockage and then went ahead and flushed the pipes through.
